ABOUT ME

Conglei Shi (石丛磊) is currently a Data Visualization Engineer in Airbnb based in San Francisco, CA. Before joining Airbnb, he was a Research Staff Member in IBM T.J. Watson Research Center. He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from HKUST(Hong Kong University of Science and Technology) in 2014, supervised by Prof. Huamin Qu. He obtained his B.Sc. degree in SJTU (Shanghai Jiao Tong University) in major of Computer Science. During his undergraduate studies, he was a member of the BCMI Lab and supervised by Prof. BaoLiang Lu.

His research interests lie in information visualization and visual analytics. His work mainly focuses on visual analytics of user behaivors through different types of data.
